Thousands Attend Boise Hempfest 2017 In Support of Cannabis in Idaho

This weekend Boise Hempfest threw the second ever annual event in support of Cannabis in Idaho. There was over 1,227 petition signatures gathered and at least 3,000 people had attended the event. Despite our government saying that “there is very little support for Cannabis in Idaho” the Cannabis community in Idaho is growing… like a weed.

There was political activists & motivational speakers who came from states that have already been legalized. There was dispensaries with booths like Hotbox farms right across the border. The event was kid friendly. Professional friendly. Even Idaho’s Freedom Foundation attended the event to learn peoples stories about CBD oil.

There were programmers, business owners, college graduates, conservatives, liberals, and everyone from all walks of life who attended this event. It was Idahoans who came.

My point being this wasn’t a liberal hippie fest filled with stoners who just wanted to smoke weed.

Idahoans are finally coming together and realizing that we need to get this legalized.

Boise Hempfest 2018 is going to be HUGE.

Last year Boise Hempfest had maybe 2000¬†people. It grew over 50% this year. With new sponsors and advertisers, we expect Boise Hempfest 2018 to be anywhere from 5,000-10,000 people. It’s going going to get bigger and bigger and bigger. The Cannabis community in Idaho isn’t going away. We CAN get this legalized, and we’re going to get this legalized.

To everyone who came out and supported the event, thank you. I hope to see you next year where the event is only going to get bigger and better. Come down every year to show your support and watch history unfold as we end prohibition in Idaho.
